These are two brass planes that I have just built. One uses a low angle approach, and one a high angle. They both have 1/4 brass sides with beech soles. The low angle has a bed degree of 25 degrees while the high angle has a bed angle of 50 degrees. I have used some old Stanley parts on both planes.

Roy, I got the 1/4 brass sheet stock from my local metal recycle center. The rest of the parts came off some of my old Stanley planes. The blade on the low angle smoother is a 1/8 x 1 7/8 replacement chinese blade.
