Very dangerous wood

Several:confused: months ago,i and dennis ford and our turning club came into some fantastic(AAAAA) box elder. it gave me "box elder fever for a month then dennis cut a vase into a funnel(took it like a man). last night i was finish turning a funnel shaped vase(13x13") and due to no fault of my own, it exploded at 500 RPM. i think box elder is just naturally dangerous.-------------------------older forester
