This turned into work and it's all Bernie's fault.
I did get 25 of them made over the weekend :)

Nice BHs, what did you use for the gloss finish. Lacquer? I have made my first 6 this past week and am wondering how to apply the finish to mine. So far I have just wiped on some poly. Probably should have finished them while they still had a tenon on the houses so I could spin them to apply the finish and sand between coats but I didnt.......

Two coats of Sanding sealer then 2 coats of Varnish----it's not that bad when you are doing several at a time.

Nice looking bunch of ornaments, Gary. I agree that after a certain amount they turn into work. I'd also blame Bernie, he seems to be a machine when it comes to turning these things.

Dan , they all have Cedar roofs. I start with 2 1/2 square stock.

Gary you need to get on the stick if you are going to keep up. You have bells to do, peppermills to do, coasters to do, at least 50 more birdhouses (did 75 this last month or so) and Christmas is coming fast.:D:rolleyes:;)

Great looking batch of houses Gary. They are actually easy and a lot of fun when doing them in batches.
