Aspen wood video

Sometimes it's hard to capture the beauty in wood in a still photograph. I posted a picture of this vase the other day. It was oiled but not buffed. The way the aspen absorbed the oil made it look like a basket weave pattern. But tonight I buffed it and although it still has some of the same look, it really reflects the light now. So I made a lame attempt with my little flip video camera to capture the way this wood reflects the light.

It certainly does reflect light. It just looks like glass. That came out really nice after buffing.
