This was a piece that Donny had laying on the ground. I don't know what it is but it's shaping up into a David Keller work if I can keep it together while I'm hollowing ....

Milk bones and cigarettes...my kinda breakfast!
Should shape up to be cool looking...just stay out of the way if it lets loose!!!

I see some potential there, Ed! Looks a bit like locust or maybe redbud in the photos, but maybe Donnie can tell you what it really is... If it's redbud, beware of the cracking potential! Looking forward to seeing it finished... I'll keep my fingers crossed that it stays together. I guess it goes without saying that a faceshield should definitely be worn while hollowing this sucker!

Lottsa potential. Definitely a face shield and perhaps body armor. I would wrap it with duct tape while hollowing. Have done successfully on a few pieces which would have exploded for certain without it.

I will definately have the face shield on. I try not to turn the lathe on without it wrapped around my head.

Faceshield? I'd want a football helmet WITH faceshield for that! Looking good, Ed. I love pieces like this.

I think you could name this many times over...each side gives it a different view. But my name choice is the Cyclopse Cat...after the third photo. :D
