Has anyone glued 2 of Woodcrafts Veneer together to get the .032 needed for String and Berry inlay?

I glued 2 pieces of veneer together to get the right thickness and put them in the slot formed by the Lie Nielsen radius cutter

Re: Line or string inlay tools like those of Steve Latta. I had book marked pages to make them myself but now none are available. Would like the
plans or photos for a straight line tool and radius tool. Help! jj
