I have a customer that wants acrylic ornaments priced. They want it priced as follows:

500qty on 1/8" from clear acrylic at 4" x 4"
600qty on 1/4" from clear acrylic at 4" x 4"
500qty on 1/8" from clear acrylic at 5" x 5"
600qty on 1/4" from clear acrylic at 5" x 5"
500qty on 1/8" from green acrylic at 4" x 4"
500qty on 1/8" from green acrylic at 5" x 5"
600qty on 1/8" from green acrylic at 4" x 4"
600qty on 1/8" from green acrylic at 5" x 5"

Any suggestions on how to come up with the price per? I'm a newbie and I'm not sure my pricing is good. I'm using a Zing24 and I can get 9up of the 5" x 5" on one sheet and 16up of the 4" x 4". So I would need 56 12" x 24" sheets to do it at 5" x 5" and 33 sheets to do it at 4" x 4". ANY suggestions would be appreciated!!!!! FYI, the pricing I did was with using Tap Plastics to get my acrylic sheets from.

Can't help you with pricing, but have you run samples to see what kind of cut times you're dealing with?
If these are Christmas ornaments, my gut says you needed to have started the job a couple months ago.

I agree that it is late in the season for an order of this size, but not out of the question. I would start at around $5 each depending on complexity of the design as you are probably going to be sleeping with your machine for a couple of weeks. I would also consider farming some of it out in order to have it done in a reasonable timeframe, your laser is good, but it is small for a short order of this size.

Are they just cut or is there a graphic? Are they all the same?
I would do a test to see how long it takes to do one then multiply it out
for quantities. This may be a job to have a ASI vendor do it and mark it up.

Problem there I'm sure they want it now :)

All I can tell you is that I run the ornaments for about 4.00 each in that qty. But I can puit a 3 foot by 4 foot sheet on my table
