Mornin' all... finally got the pictures ready to post so I could tell about my new Stihl MS290 FarmBoss w/ 20" bar. This is the first "real" chainsaw I've owned (had a couple pawn shop buys and a Wally World Poulan). Night and day difference. Owning a saw like this makes you hunt for things to cut up :)
Also, a neighbor had a large oak tree cut down in their yard and I grabbed several pieces of the cut up trunk. I processed one piece and got 14 bowl blanks (rangeing from 5" dia to 11" dia and 2.5" thick to 5" thick), plus various and assorted other blanks... problem now if finding a place to put all the anchor sealed pieces until I can get them rough turned... anyone need some oak???
