Hi Bianca,

Is that a LaserTile? If so, it looks like you've used too much power. What settings did you use? Also, the resolution is low for LaserTile, I usually use 600 dpi. If it is not a LaserTile, what did you use? Post your settings and procedures and maybe we can figure it out.

cheers, dee

It helps if we know what machine you have.
You can add this info to your sig. block.
Never heard of the Moshi software or even
seen settings in the format like yours.
You may want to check You Tube for videos
on tile engraving. There is lots of testing involved
when you are new to the laser. Once you get the settings
down make sure you keep a notebook that way you can
easily repeat. Sorry I can't be more help.

Bianca,

I'm confused - usually when I tried a "regular ceramic tile" it was not possible to get through the glaze very easily. It looks like your turned black. This leads me to think this is not a glazed ceramic tile but maybe an Italian tile or some other type of material. Can you be more specific about it?

JDS has colored tiles that you can laser.

Is this a black tile that you start with?
