A leak detector that operates by detecting ultrasound would be a new tool and that alone is justification for buying one. But I am also curious how well they work. I'd use it mostly for automotive work. Any recommendations?
There is quit a price range on these detectors. Some come with a kit than includes a transmitter than you can put inside something and then (supposedly) you can find leaks in the thing by listening to where the sound leaks out. Does that work well?
