anyone have any experience or ideas in cutting a whiteboard that is metal backed with a porcelan enamel finish? the material is 24ga sheet and the baked on finish is warranted for 50 years. I am going to use this as an insert panel in a refrigerator and a cabinet end organizer. So with kids it should last at least five years. I can tolerate some chip out due to the edges, but I do not want to send cracks into the surface. As always thoughts appreciated.

Tom, I work in the carpentry department of the local school district. I/we install a lot of these white-boards. A lot of times we need to cut them down to fit a specific area. When we do we run them on the table saw just like plywood. Use a carbide blade and safety glass/shield.

Old white-board that need discarded are simply cut into small piece with a circular saw or saw-all.
