My First Sale! BIG GLOAT!

About a month ago I put some of my pieces in a small gift gallery in Easley, SC (about 10 miles from my house). Last week, I received notice that I had sold one of my pieces. Now, just to be clear, this is NOTHING like what DD has accomplished but I'm excited anyway. Here are a few pictures of the gallery and my first check.

It's not pictured, but it was a small Oak bowl that was dyed red. Yes, it is a good feeling, very exciting.

Ed, My first sale was to a friend and he paid me cash money, so no check to keep as a momento for me! But the first sale is just the first of a long list of many! Congrats on the sale and for hopes of many more, it never gets old getting a check in the mail, my last 2 months sales have been very good from the gallery I am in here in WI. It will be good for the next month or so and then slows down and this year the owner is going to shut down for Feb & March and that will give me more time to get some more things done ....I hope!
