question making stamp

i want to make stamps, but dont know how to convert pictures or text
i have cliparts white backgound and black lines, i know i can convert it to negativ so background is black and lines white.
but my machine dont engrave the file,

can someone please tell me how to convert files to stampfile

Hi Bianca:

You don't say what machine you are using or what program you are using. That would help to understand your problem.

If you are using Corel, I would Invert the bitmap, and convert to a 1 bit (Black and White) picture. Next I would check to see if the machine is set to raster and not vector.

hi ,

i have a jinan morn laser machine a desktop, small one
i use moshidraw but hate the driver, ok have to do with it
i try it all the time, my laser makes noise and do nothing , i know when he do that the file is not good
because when i take a engrave picture he works well, so i do something wrong,

i have for example a jpg white back and line draw black picture
i want that for a stamp, they say in photoshop and click negative, and save as a bitmap, but also that doenst work
cant figure it out, and want to make a stamp so bad:(

If you open the .jpeg or .bmp into Microsoft's Paint program (which is on every windows based computer) you can click Image at the top and choose Invert colors.
Then save the file and re open the file in your Moshidraw program.

I know how to convert, but the laser did not read it,
i finaly got it work, but he dont make great stamps, the line are to thin, not deep enough
and when i go deeper it burns away all of it, and it is a laser rubber.
have to learn alot for making stamps, dont get it

yes find that also bill, but i wanna know how you do the settings with moshidraw
because it burns the rubber now, and if i turn down the watt, its to light, no lines for stamping
its hard but will find it someday, :)
