Just got off the phone with John and he has been released from the hospital and is on his way home. He is under orders to take it easy for the first week but after that should be able to return to life as normal!

John appreciates everyone's support and is looking forward to getting back online later this afternoon! :D:D:D

Good deal!!!! We all missed his presence. I wonder if he signed up any of the ICU folks to be SMC members?

Welcome back John, Mike Ash

That's great! John generated almost as much interest with his heart attack as he did with his new lathe. This had to be a frightening event and I'm sure there is no one happier to be reading this than John himself! Personally I'm happy that I may still have a chance to meet him in person!

Marvelous news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This sure makes my day. Thanks for letting us know Steve. The doctor didn't say anything about using his fingers to type so he has a lot of catching up to do. I can't wait to see John posting again.
