Guys, I need your help.

It's about time to sharpen the knives on my jointer. I've never done this before, so I would like to hear how you guys sharpen your jointer knives.

Any and all advice is appreciated :)

Funny you should ask, I just posted this (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?175339-Jointer-Knife-Maintenance) yesterday. I found this to be effective as well as economical. If you have never set the knives on a planer or jointer before there is a small learning curve, but it's not difficult at all.

Chris
I have two sets so I pop them out and take them to the sharpening shop. I've tried doing it myself but the shop does a great job for not a lot of money.

We gave away some Deulin jigs for testing here. Maybe some of those folks could post and tell you how they worked.

The jig works great Tom, the recommended sand paper leaves a bit to be desired though.
