Indeed interesting.

The they hinted a few times that they might manufacture other machines at this plant in the near future. Does anyone know what machines they are thinking about bringing back?

I had a chat with a Delta rep recently and he also said the new Delta is looking at making more machines in the US again, due to all of the hidden costs of manufacturing off shore (quality issues, managing production from far away, shipping costs, etc.) I told him that was exciting news, but I couldn't pry any more details out of him...

That was a great video and great news! I thought Delta was still owned by Black and Decker. Looking at their website, I see that they have dramatically cut down on the variety of machines they have, they only have one model of bandsaw and one tablesaw (Unisaw). Hopefully they will bring back more of their machines.
