Very interesting! I love the irregular carved lines, but I'm not a huge fan of the guilding... That's a personal hangup of mine, so it shouldn't detract from a nicely turned form.

Cool. Maybe a black rim to draw the eye toward the gliding. I was drawn right to the carving and didn't notice the gliding till I read David's comment.

Interesting thought, Bob. I will say that this is an unusual view. Normally when viewing the bowl it is from above. This was the first attempt at guilding. I am glad I did it but will use it selectively on future endeavors.
