I'm trying to find out about online woodworking courses. I'm only aware of 3 of them--paying courses that are online only.

The one at WoodWhisperer (Marc Spagnuolo)
Renaissance Woodworker Hand Tool School
And Rob Cosman's Hand Tool Workshop

Does anyone know of any others?

Thank you very much

Not courses but www.finewoodworking.com (http://www.finewoodworking.com) and I think Pop wood has some paying site too. Lots of videos and online doc and plans at both.

Hi Cynthia, I follow Marc and am a Guild member at his forum. He offers alot of educational videos on the free side of his site. The Guild/pay side offers a number of things one of them being build along projects with Marc that are archive for you to go back and view when you want. Depending on the project the video content will aveage 4 to 7/8 hours long. I'm not sure what the annual fee currently is as I am paid up for a couple of years but I feel you get alot for the money. Not really an anwser to your question but I just thought I throw out a little insight. Pat

Chuck Bender of Acanthus Workshop will be starting online classes in November. Chuck is one of the best informed and most knowledgeable guys around, and unlike a lot of "teachers" he has years of experience making furniture. In my opinion that makes a big difference.

Charles Neil. Lots of YouTube and a great weekly pay program. Shows it all including slip ups, then how to fix them

Another vote for Charles Neil's Mastering Woodworking! I've been a member for over a year and it's made a huge difference in my skills. http://www.cn-woodworking.com/
