...and realized that the only one I had was a 24 volt B&D that I no longer had a working charger for (plus as best I recalled, it didn't hammer very well last time I needed it). Looked online at several of the stores near me and saw an Hitachi at Lowe's for about $60 (http://www.lowes.com/pd_194482-67702-FDV16VB2_0__?productId=1161301&Ntt=hammer+drill&pl=1&currentURL=%2Fpl__0__s%3FNtt%3Dhammer%2Bdrill&facetInfo=). Drove over, brought it home, and it works great. I'm using the drill bit that came with the box of Tapcons I bought to attach electric boxes and conduit clips to the block wall in the shop. Takes about 3 seconds to drill the holes. Last time I tried to use that B&D 24 volt drill, it took me nearly an hour and two full batteries to drill three small holes in a brick wall to mount a water hoses reel. I've always liked my Hitachi tools, corded drill, 18 volt Lion drill, and router dual base kit, this one joins the club.
