Hi, I need your advise. I have a chance to buy a CT33 dust extractor with handle, boom kit, and a hose minder + some bags, ETS 150/3 sander with systainer case, DTS400 EQ detail sander with systainer case for $600. Is this a fair price? Seller states that they are in excellent condition cosmetically and fully functional.
TIA.

Seems like a fair price to me if the equipment is in good working order. I've got a 150/3 and a vac (can't remember which model it is) and they both work great. Festool equipment holds it's value quite well so it's not uncommon to see these items selling for very close to original purchase price. I'm a big "fit and finish" guy so IMHO physical condition says alot about how well someone takes care of their equipment and how hard they use it. My .02......take it for what it's worth.

$600 for the package! i would be all over that! I have the ct22, with the boom arm as well as the ets150/5.. along with alot of other Festools. Once you get the first green/black in your shop, you will never want anything else!

The Mr. Crabs in me has a hard time calling that a "good" deal. But, I got to say you won't find many better deals on Festool equipment. I would jump on that.

Get a Oneida dust deputy to fit the vac and you will love the CT33 with boom arm. I have that set-up and use it daily. Not having to worry about the bags in the vac is worth $$ (to me anyway).

I have the CT33 with the boom arm and several Festool sanders. That is a great deal for the vac by itself, let alone with two sanders. I used that vac with an RO125FEQ to refinish a bar in a restaurant and I didn't even have to dust the floor under the bar when I was done. I removed the old finish right down to the wood in rotary mode and then took it to 180 in R/O mode, sanding between coats with 220 crystal. Glassy bar and NO dust!

Thanks for the advice guys. The seller sold the package to the first responder. I wasn't too sad to see they gone because what I really want is the CT26 and the TS55 combo.

You should have bought it and sold off the rest here.. probably would have gotten most of the $600 back in a few weeks..

Good choice.
The new Festool CT 26/36/48 vacs are much nicer than the old style CT 22/33 vacs.
