Festool ro125/3 sander opinion

Purchased this sander yesterday and just wanted to say that I think it's amazing. Best festool I own as of now. Who knew a palm sander could be that different from one to the next.

I am in the process to choos between the version 125 & 150.
why did you choos the 125?

Are you sure you bought a 125/3 and didn't mean to say 150/3? I just bought the 150/3 and like it. Good balance for a 6" sander. LOTS of these posts around on this topic. Nobody can tell you want you need to buy for what kind woodworking/sander use so just evaluate the pros/cons of each, buy one, and use it the best you can. If you don't like it then sell it buy what you want or understand that you may need to have 2 sanders because none are one size fits all. I ended up buying the RO 90 for tight spaces, spindles, etc. I find that the sandpaper is really what makes their sanders great. Lots of choices to every kind of work and they are readily available for about the same cost as standard paper.
