DOT proccesing mode

Hi
In program i use for running laser i have beside scan and cut mode also dot processing mode. I can't figure out on what job should i use it. Any suggestion’s?

Use the dot proccesing mode for perforating stuff , otherwise use the cut mode. The dot mode will allow dots or dashes with some uncut spaces inbetween. Can also be used to "cut by drilling lots of little holes next to each other" , but this becomes complicated. Seqarch this board for "PPI" for more explanation on this "cut by drilling...."
