Does anyone know if the Hock blade and chip breaker will fit in the Woodriver plane? TIA. Rick

I see no reason why it wouldn't.
Especially if the mouth has extra room with the original blade.
Is the original blade unacceptable?

Thanks for the reply Jim. Hadn't tried it yet, still waiting for the plane to arrive, I have a Hock blade and chip breaker and was curious (just in case), I'll let you know.

You shouldn't have any issues with the blade that comes with it. I have a 2nd generation of the WR 6 and the blade is quite good. Have fun with your new plane!

The standard Hock replacement blade is a bit thinner than the stock WR#6. You could use the LN equivalent (or even Pinnacle blade from Woodcraft).

I got to cut shavings with a WR #6 today at the local WoodCraft. I was impressed with the quality. Once you put a good edge on the blade you should not have any problems. I think you will be well pleased with your choice.
