well my buddy called and said his neighbor was cutting a tree down and it was ours for the taking. He already had it slabbed out and all I had to do was load this beautiful ambrosia maple on my trailer. I've got it all anchor sealed and set aside. I hope I can rough out a couple this weekend.

John, you need more friends like that!!! Getting that beautiful wood was a plus - having a friend that slabs it out for you - that is a REAL plus!

I about spit my drink at the computer! LOL This is a good buddy in my woodturning club. I was able to share some walnut with him earlier this year from a tree I had cut down. He sure took care of me, that is for sure! I swear I have been thinking about it all day. We have church stuff tonight so it's gonna have to wait a little longer. It will make for nice dreams tonight.:D
