Looks like some time goes into these - do you scatch them out with pencil before you burn ?
Are they some kind of traditional art ?

Baxter, the Anasazi grew cotton and had wool from sheep. in the begining the legend of Spider Women with her loom is part of their oral history.

Joe, yes i sketch with a pencil the new items, do a practice burning, then burn onto the turning. i try to use the style of the "rock art" petroglyph of the southwest. there are things like the pointed heads that make my burnings unique, i believe.
