10" dia.
Just got a Monster. Love it. Still learning. Critiques invited (I know the photography's really bad)

Prashun that is some really pretty wood. Looks like the monster served you well. Nice form and finish. I love my monster. Sure does make it easy on my old hands and shoulders.

That wood looks like caramel ice cream or something! Wrong color for caramel, but the way is appears stirred in is cool. Well done on the rim treatment, and your proportions are spot on. I'd love to see one more profile photo - my only critique would be from the last photo, it looks like the shoulder drops just a little too fast making the piece look heavy. However, a straight profile pic might resolve the perception.

Well done, very pleasing piece!

Nice job Prashun. If that is your first then I can't wait to see your 10th or 20th. I like the rim and agree that the shoulder looks like it should be a little bit higher. Overall, though, a great job.

Looks like you kept a nice curve all the way around. A straight on profile pic would be cool. Little big on the opening, but that comes in time. Cool job!

That's your first? I think that it's great. I don't have any problem with the shoulder. Looks good to me. I suggest that for your first few HF's you stay with the larger opening as you did with this one. Who says that HF's require small openings?

Looking good. Waiting for my monster to show its self on the door step.

That looks like a very pleasing shape. I like the way you accented the opening.

On my first piece with the Monster, I made a 10" wide hollow form with a 6" opening. I could look inside the piece as it turned and see exactly what the cutter was doing and what adjustments I could make to improve the cut. Seemed to work pretty well.

Looks expertly done to me, so how uniformly thin are the walls?

Prashun, I give it a 10!! Very nice work, and I am one of those that really likes an embellished collar area - good work! And, small holes are overrated!

That looks great especially for a first effort, I can only hope if I ever get into HF that my first one looks that good. What is the finish on it?

Great choice of opening for your first try and really well done. You can display that proudly anywhere.

A beautiful piece Prashun. I like the collar and notice that you seem to have turned it quiet thin. Very well done.

Thanks, Everyone.

I really am happy having skipped hand hollowing in favor of this articulated hollower. I haven 't used the laser yet. Even without it, it really lets you concentrate on form. I totally see what people mean by this being an arm saver. It takes a lot of the catch-scare factor out of the equation too.

The finish is simple WOP. I had to CA some cracks first (love those little dollar super glue squeezies!)
