Versalaser Rotary Tool

I'm hoping someone can help. I would like to build a rotary tool for my versa laser vl200. I've seen a home made one for an epilog, but not for a versa laser. Does anyone have pictures of the internals of the versa laser one? Do you know if the stepper electronics are in the tool or built into the versa laser itself? Do you know the gear ratio and stepper degree that is used?

If none of the above, would anyone be willing to loan (or sell) me theirs? I'll be happy to pay for the use and probably wouldn't need it for more than a month or so.

Why would you want to build your own the NEW rotary attachment for those systems are only $945.00. It seems to me you would spend more in time and materials to do it yourself.

Maybe you can check with used lasers dot com to see if they have one.
