Hi all,

I am trying to clean up a pencil rubbing of a name on the WW II Memorial in D.C.

Please see attached photo.

Looking for the correct type font. Any ideas?

Professor Hermann Zapf's Optima w/ spacing optimized for tight all-caps setting by Dr. Chrales Bigelow.

I also had to identify this font a month ago and came up with Optima. I didn't have it and I wasn't up for buying the specific font just for this one job, luckily I found a free alternative called MG Open Cosmetica (http://www.zvr.gr/typo/mgopen/index). It's free and would take a typographer to see the difference.

Zapf Humanist is a common font included with Corel check your font CD
