I've never posted over hear, but John Keeton thought i should, so here goes. I'm a turner, or at least i play one in my shop.:) This table is for my ex-daughter in law.Walnut basics, with maple burl inlay. The HF is gum burl dyed blue then sanded off to this point. The finial is holly dyed black. I know it's not for everyone, but Erin(ex-DIL) really likes it so i guess that's what counts. Thanks for looking and all C&C welcome.

Amazing work! That HF looks like it's made from marble! I've never seen turnings incorporated into flatwork like what you've done here!

Beautiful work. I'd say you're more than just a turner

Just awesome work. I would love to know a little more about how you inlaid the burl peices, have a thin slice of burl that I'd like to use in a very similar way but do not know how to go about it. Very nice peice.
