Some time ago Kathy Marshal posted a pic of a twisted lidded box she made. It was awesome, as one would expect, so wanted to try one. This has the mug insert set in but not glued, too many things wrong with it so it will be a pencil holder on my desk. I also tried dying for the first time. This is Feibings Oil Based Leather Dye (Mahogany) that I mixed 50/50 with DNA. It was just too dark straight. Wood is Curly Maple, sanded to 240, dyed, then sanded with Abralon up to 400, then BLO sanded and finally, 3 coats of shellac hand rubbed and sanded with 600 between coats. Would love to hear your thoughts and any pointers.

Nice mug, Nate. But you gotta be careful drinking that multi axis coffee. That stuff will really mess up your mind...

But, when it hits your lips it tastes so good.

I think that's only if it's "multi axis of evil" coffee. The regular multi axis stuff is actually pretty harmless.

Nate that's one of the best of the coffee mugs I've seen!

You have to drink your coffee from this with a lemon twist
