The is a bunch of ornaments I turned in the last 2 days. Except for 3 of them, they all have some birch plywood incorporated into them in one way or another. All kinds of wood, poplar, osage orange, cherry, redheart, purpleheart, maple, black walnut, english walnut, olive, aspen, eucalyptus, kingwood, burmese rosewood. (not necessarily in any order)

I don't get some of you "guys" - you can turn wood into "works of art" or beautiful functional utilities, some completely abstract other take simple designs and add a touch of creativity which sets it apart from the rest - but when it comes time to take a picture the tiny and fuzzy syndrome kicks in :)

Anyway:
Im sure no matter who gets these, from sale or gift - they will love them.

Curt, you have been one busy guy!!! That is a beautiful array of ornaments - one can certainly tell the season is upon us when Curt starts the ornament production. So many variations - all just very well done!

...when it comes time to take a picture the tiny and fuzzy syndrome kicks in :)Joe, I notice that Curt's pic is 610x480 pixels, compressed at 98%. I don't know if he let the SMC software reduce the pic for him, or whether he processed it prior to uploading. In any event, I have found that one gets a better image at somewhere between 800 - 1024 pixels on the long side, compressed to get just under the 107 KB posting restriction. Depending on the type of image (lighter images see to require more compression), compression percentages of around 65% - 75% are about right.

Hey Curt,
Man, to turn all that in so short a time would have to make you Crumpy, or not : )

Your ornaments look great, the plywood really adds a lot.
