Customer had this tree leaning over an in-progress outbuilding, saw me visibly drool when he mentioned he was going to cut it down, and then asked me if I wanted it. Duh...........Made two loads with this 5x10 trailer, both as much as I thought the trailer would stand.

I have a lot left to slab, but I got the really big stuff finished tonight. I've been wanting some big cherry, guess I got my wish.

Two coats of anchor seal... Minimum! Oh, and don't look directly at it... It likes to crack if provoked! Nice haul!

nice haul, John Jordan cautioned us about wind shake in cherry, not sure if you have wind shake are just some chain saw marks on some of the ends of your blanks, but by all means enjoy, great wood......it looks fairly light....could be the famous white cherry

Nice haul. I love turning cherry. I leave mine as long as possible and only cut up what I can turn right away. Have fun turning all of it.

You are in for a real treat. Turning cherry is like eating ice cream. Enjoy and looking forward to see some of the turnings.

That definitely merits a "you suck." Cherry is fun to turn, but hard to dry. Even the stuff that didn't crack on me warped so badly that the second turning presented all new design opportunities. I'll go thicker than 10% next time. Have fun.
