Jet Benchtop OSS Score

This is the first time I've bought a tool from Craigslist.

It's a Jet Benchtop OSS. Very good condition, Owned by a hobbiest, includes all the accesseries and owners manual including a 3" Spindle.

I bought it at the seller's asking price of $225, which seems to be about 40% of new pricing counting everything. It included a nice shop made cart but I dont know that I'll keep the cart as it has about a 2 Ft. x 2 Ft. footprint and I dont have the floor space for that.

I live in Ashburn,VA and I had to drive to Fredricksburg, VA to pick it up. Not a bad drive. Seller was really nice. Would make a good Creeker. Selling his shop and getting out of woodworking though.

Congrats, I think that you're going to love it. I have a Delta BOSS that has worked great but I sometimes wish it had a tilting table.

I have the same sander. It's nice. I especially like the 3" spindle option which most other benchtop machines don't have.
