Does anyone have any experience with the Penn Industries cyclones? (looking for most bang for the buck). Their price seemed much lower then Woodsucker ll, Onedia, etc.

Or a system with a non-cyclone collector with a 1 micron filter and a seperate air exchanger?

??????????????????

Bob,

I don't have a cyclone or a system with a 1 micron filter YET. In my other post I stated that one of my next upgrades is to my HF DC with a Wynn Canister. This will be a 0.5 micron canister. Should help with airflow, and of course it will filter VERY fine particles.

As far as the air filter goes, yep, I built my own. It works great! Literaly pulls the airborne dust out of the air.

My shop built Air Cleaner (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=16883)

Good luck! If you can afford it, a cyclone with high CFM would be very nice! If you can't, a smaller system, such as mine, does the job :)
