I purchased a second omnijig on Ebay for two reasons, I didn't have the brackets for the sliding dovetail attachement (main reason cause the sliding jig is useless without it.) And 1/2 boxjoint templet.
Now I have the newer Taiwanese made 7116 which I originally had, and a older US made 7116 with some light surface rust. I compared the 1/2" blind dovetail templets. There are some differences in manufacture, as the Taiwanese version you can see the casting marks. I suspect the USA version may be a little heavier.
Problem is I can't decide which one to unload, but one has to go.
