This one is made from Aspen with 5 ply, 1/4" birch plywood laminated in there and cut into 6 segments. The handle is Kingwood and it might be the prettiest part if I could get a better picture. The Aspen and Birch Plywood are so close in color that the pattern is pretty subtle. Birch and Aspen are both woods that have that 'chatoyance' characteristic in the way they reflect the light. The difference in the grain direction makes that chatoyance look prettier than the picture shows. It's 6.5" x 2".

Curt that is another beauty. I like the woods used in this one as it gives it a soft, wanna be touch look.

Curt, while I really liked the previous contrast, this one may be the better! The way the ply plays off the coloration of the Aspen really gives this one a very neat look. I have seen Kingwood in rough - wish I could see more of it here. Bet it looks great with the bell. I also like the spindle work on this one.

My favorite of the two I've seen. I like how you have the hangar at the top two...subtle touches that make it really show-off well.

Like the others, I also like the subtleness of the colors. Another beauty, Curt!

Gorgeous work again Curt! The hanger at the top is a nice touch too. I've got one of these gluing up right now based on your previous instructions.
