I found a old rustic table that I cut down and made into a vanity for my bathroom. I put a top mount vessel sink on it but the table top is so rough that there are big gaps between the table and the sink. The sink isnt moving around so its just cosmetic. I tried shims but it doesnt look very good. I need something like modeling clay that is paintable...any thoughts?

If you are jsut painting it, sheetrock mud would work as would bondo. Sheetrock mud would be easier to work with no contact high.

Mud performs poorly in wet conditions. Use marine bondo.
