I have been the humble recipient of many great blessings in life, and the richness of the last couple of years of turning have just added to the heap. I thought I would share one more with my friends on the creek.

In January, I submitted pics of some of my work for possible inclusion in an exhibit at The Carnegie in Covington KY, and was accepted. My submissions were grouped in a photo that is at the top center of the postcard - four of those have sold, so I will be taking other more recent work.

This will be the second time my work has been in public outside my immediate geographic area - the first was recently being accepted at the Louisville Museum of Art and Craft (KMAC). The reception is a week from this coming Friday, and I am excited, yet apprehensive. There are some wonderful works of art on exhibit, and this will be quite humbling. But, a learning experience, I hope.

Thanks for all the help and encouragement over the last couple of years!

Well, Congradulations John. I have always admired your work and knew you took alot of pride in the pieces you put out. I've watched your pieces grow over the past few years and in my opinion you are an inspiration to us all. Thanks for sharing. You deserve it all. One of these days I would like to visit you and your shop. I'm not that far from you.

My thanks go out to each of you for helping me along this journey! The camaraderie and support offered by fellow creekers is first rate - always uplifting and inspiring. I will report back on the reception - hopefully, there will be enough folks there to justify some pics.
