I have a local police department that wants this odd image engraved onto the receiver of a lot of their guns. I'm stumped! Anyone want to take a stab at converting it to an engravable 1 bit image? I've done the half-tone conversion, but I'm not impressed with the samples I've done. BTW, the finished image will be approx. 1.42" x 1.44".

the police are wearing/carrying Domo Kun??

it's a strange image to work on.. I gave it a shot, but my monitor is
kaput, and I'm trying to use the computer on a TV. It's just not the
same.

Would of thought this would look better as an outline drawing rather than engrave the whole image from my experience on engraving a pistol receiver? especially as the image is small

Dave, that is too ironic - the customer called this evening with that same opinion. Thanks everyone for your input. This will be the fist receiver I've done. That doesn't bother me any. However, I'm not looking forward to someone looking over my shoulder while I work.

Just keep smiling when you hit the green button no matter what is going on I did include an outline drawing in my post Tim so you can play and adjust :)

I procrastinated today and played with your graphic. Here's my outline version in CD 9.
