Shopmaster Mark V

Okay, so we were given a ShopMaster Mark V. The gift included the original lesson book, even the little signs about safety and woodworking. We are mainly interested in the lathe since we have everything else except the drill press. Any one have suggestions for best practices, etc. What about the don't do's on something like this? It looks brand new, the gouges haven't even been used - still have the little red plastic covers over the ends. Any and all information will be appreciated!:rolleyes:

Never did hear of a Shopmaster Mark V. Possible it is a Shopsmith Mark V? If so, Best place on the net for info.
