Engraving on polycarbonate ?

I was asked to engrave a picture on polycarbonate, but I couldn't give an answer if it's possible or not... I have never tried. Should I try or not :confused: Anyone have some samples (or settings) to show ?

It will not engrave as sharply as acrylic, and produces a dangerous-looking yellow smoke. Not as bad as when cutting it though. I'd stick to clipart, a photo would not show up very well.
