Looks like a great time a lot of new toys. The lamp is exactly like those that Ikea sells for $10 but sans the magnet.

Harry, great bunch of toys you ended up with!! I left some money with Doug Thompson and ended up with three more tools, got some handles from Randy Privett that I had asked him to bring with him, and ended up with a bunch of wood!! Jamie's Porsche Cayman was loaded down pretty good - thought I was going to have to have wood in my lap on the way home.

This was a great event, and for my needs, better in a lot of respects than the AAW symposium. Beautiful setting, great food, sharing coffee with Al Stirt at 6 am, sharing breakfast at a table of 6-7 folks including Richard Raffan, Molly Winton, Betty Scarpino and Al Stirt - great times!!

Alan, It was great to meet you at last along with John, Harry, Jamie and others. It was my objective from the get go to meet as many Creekers as I could. That is why I wore that silly sign on a string announcing I was a Creeker and WOWie. A couple of people came up to me but I suspect I missed meeting a lot of folks. Looking at people's nametags all weekend sometimes doesn't work. Oh well.

Special note: For all of you who are a first time attendee to a symposium TAKE CASH and CHECKBOOK!!! The booth that had drooling on the wood didn't take plastic.

Dick,

It's only reasonable that you need to exchange cash for wood.

Cash is actually made out of wood (paper), and because of the laws of conservation of mass and energy, purchasing wood is just a phase change of the raw material.

On the other hand, if you need to purchase using a credit card, buy this alternate material and preserve the balance of the universe:
