Basic Sanding video

I've been reading Mike Mahoney's blog this morning and see he's posted some cuts from some of his videos. This one might be of use to some.

This is a nice and very informative video. I power sand and do some of what he suggests. Once I get back in the shop, I'll try the rest of his suggestions.

I was surprised that he didn't mention his dust mask. I find that having a good dust mask and a dust collection system really helps to control the sanding dust. I also have found that the type of mask that Mike used isn't very effective in preventing me from breathing the dust.
