I was very nervous but I can laugh at myself now: http://beta.realmilwaukeenow.com/2011/furnishings-and-craft-show-at-the-hd-museum-tony-checks-it-out/

Tony sure didn't give you much space, did he? Seems to be a bit stuck on himself instead of the interview subject.

But thanks for the post, anyway. I had no idea that this event was happening.
Maybe we'll go check out this show on Sunday.

Dale,

You handled it very well. Very nice work as well!

Thanks guys! It did help my nerves a bit that Tony did a lot of talking. I was fine with doing a demo on live TV but having to talk about my work was tough. Craig, I hope you can make it. There is a lot of great work to see.

Did you cringe when he laid the plane on the stock, and left the saw in the cut?

Just waiting for him to hammer that saw into something and ping a tooth off. dinggggggggg!

Or bump into the handle and bend the saw.

Thanks for the replies guys. For the demo I brought in my low end tools I started out with years ago so I wasn't to worried. It was a fun experience, if it wasn't live TV I would have felt more at ease. Here is a photo of my booth with 4 other pieces. Lighting was poor so next year I'll bring additional as well as a back drop.208928
