I have never seen the TV show Parks and Rec, however, one of the actors from that show Nick Offerman was on Letterman earlier this week. I have a DVR or as I don't stay up late enough to see the show. Nick also is on the front cover of Fine Woodworking, showing how to level a large slab using a router. I think this is a first that Letterman was taking about Nakashima style and asking about the price of a cedar strip canoe.
Anyway, not very often woodworking is mentioned on prime time or late night as the case may be.
