I'm having a heck of a time removing the plastic sheeting on acrylic sheets. It just wont peel like it usually does and my finger nails are wearing out. Any tricks for loosening this stuff. Thanks.

Jim,

I use a lot of acrylic sheet, if the paper is very old and won't pull off of the acrylic sheets surface I don't know any trick that will help.

If the protective coating is not old, I use a cardboard tube to assist in the removal of the coating. Start from a corner and remove enough of the paper to wrap around a paper tube or even a wooden dowel. Role the tube and the paper will come off the sheet much easier than pulling with your hands.
