Does Tri-flow lubricant work well on nuts and bolts that are out of doors? Does it work well on nuts and bolts in cars that will get somewhat hot?

Out of doors yes, Hot probably but I don't have experience with that. I have used in on my mountain bike for lube when I lived in Massachusetts. Think wet , ice , cold. B It's main lubricant component is Teflon id I remember correctly. That should stand up to heat also.

Yes and yes.

IMHO(E) though, Breakfree CLP is a little better.
