Chuck question

Time for another chuck, can someone tell me if the jaws on the Vicmark VM100 will fit the VM120? What are the advantages of the larger VM120 over the smaller VM100? I have the VM100 and am thinking about another one, with larger jaws.

No they won't The only brand that will fit across the line of chucks is Nova. The 120 is for bigger items. The 1000 should be fine for anything about 16 inches or less. 120 will work for larger items as it is a much bigger chuck.

Rob I have the VM 100 and found that the jaws from it will fit the Grizzly chuck that is a clone. It is $105. I have 4 of them for the same price as 2 Vic's. I have different VM 100 jaws on them. I have not had one dimes worth of trouble with any of them.

I have the Grizzly chuck that Bernie mentioned and it will also take SN jaws. I have several of the Vicmarc 120's and love them but they are pricey.
