Here are some stoppers I made for the local beer store.
The lighter ones are from a block labelled Chamfuta. When cutting & turning, it sure smelled like camphor. I'm wondering if Chamfuta is another name for Camphor.
The knob-looking one is Honeylocust, and the vase is Cherry. It doesn't look like any cherry I've ever seen, but I took it from branch to stopper. It was a weeping cherry in a friend's yard.
The vase sold before I could deliver it. :D I was getting my coffee on the way to the beer store and the coffee shop owner bought it.
All sanded to 600, CA finish and MicroMesh all the way up. Comments and critiques welcome.
