View Full Version : Why doesn't [code][/code] work?

At least as much as I've seen it used on other forums.
I've always seen it used to display a link that didn't function
as a link, etc.
Just curious, what with the forums rules about direct links, it would seem
to be a nice function to have.

It works for me. This is bold. This is italic . Maybe html has to be turned on somewhere?

Those things work for me as well, but the [coce][/code] by definition should not execute
anything between the begin and the end commands.

The use of the bbcode 'code' should do this:

Not this:
bold
At least on other forums I've seen.

I use the code tags when drawing ASCII diagrams, making indented lists, etc. Anything that requires a fixed-space font...
